Tropical Cyclone Jasper is forecast to intensify as it slowly tracks westward through the Coral Sea. This system is expected to remain well to the west of Noumea throughout Cross the Ditch 25. Further south, a large area of high pressure dominates the Tasman Sea extending as far north as New Caledonia and Vanuatu. This will bring largely settled weather to the region.
