Scenery

All of the airports in this event are represented in the default FS9, FSX, and X-Plane sceneries: you don't need any add-on scenery to take part in the event.

But there are a number of scenery packages available that improve the visuals for some of the places you'll be flying, and these are listed below.

Auckland

• ORBX New Zealand - North Island FSX Payware

  This package, available here, provides stunning high res scenery for all of New Zealand's North Island (including Auckland and Wellington Airports).

• Auckland International X-Plane Freeware

  The latest X-Plane scenery for this airport is available from the X-Plane Scenery Gateway.

Canberra

• ORBX Australia FSX Payware

  This scenery, available here, provides custom mesh and land class for the entire continent of Australia.

  Note, this product upgrades the terrain mesh and land class only - there are no changes to the airports within the product area.

• ORBX Canberra FSX Payware

  This scenery, available here, provides a highly detailed upgrade from the default FSX Canberra airport.

• Vista Australis v1.8 FS9 Freeware

  This freeware FS9 scenery, available here, updates the default scenery for Australia providing numerous layout and visual improvements, including Melbourne International.

• Canberra X-Plane Freeware

  X-Plane scenery for this airport is included as part of the Voz Download, available here. (The Voz Download is about halfway down the page.)

Christchurch

• ORBX New Zealand - South Island FSX Payware

  This package, available here, provides stunning high res scenery for all of New Zealand's South Island (including Christchurch Airport).

• Christchurch International Airport v1.3 FSX Freeware

  For those FSX pilots looking for a freeware option, this scenery by Troy Chapman replaces Christchurch Airport (NZCH).

• Christchurch International (NZCH)FS9 Freeware

  A freeware FS9 scenery for Christchurch (NZCH), available here, by Alistair Slee, Jason Hunt, and Ian Warren.

• Christchurch International v1.1 X-Plane Freeware

  This scenery from ISDG and available here, is a detailed rendition of Christchurch International and the surrounding area.

Hobart

• ORBX Australia FSX Payware

  This scenery, available here, provides custom mesh and land class for the entire continent of Australia.

  Note, this product upgrades the terrain mesh and land class only - there are no changes to the airports within the product area.

• YMHB - Hobart Airport v2.1 FSX Freeware

  This scenery, by Matthew and Sean Devenish and available here (AVSIM login required), provides a detailed update to Hobart Airport, and is designed to seamlessly integrate with the ORBX Australia scenery.

• Vista Australis v1.8 FS9 Freeware

  This freeware FS9 scenery, available here, updates the default scenery for Australia providing numerous layout and visual improvements, including Hobart.

Ohakea

Palmerston North

  This scenery, available here, provides an incredibly detailed and accurate rendition of Sydney's Kingsford Smith International Airport and surrounding suburbs.

  Note, this product is compatible with the ORBX Australia scenery which updates the terrain mesh and land class but does not modify the default airport.

• Vista Australis - YSSY Sydney Kingsford-Smith Intl FS9 Freeware

  This freeware FS9 scenery updates the default for Sydney (YSSY) providing numerous layout and visual improvements.

  Version 2.2 is available here.

  Version 2.3 is a recommended update that brings the aprons and taxiways up to their current real world configuration. It is available here. Note, it requires v2.2 be installed first.
