Nadi Airport (pronounced "Nandi") (NFFN) is the main international gateway for the islands of Fiji. It serves about 1.2 million people per year, and is the main hub of Air Pacific.

Airport Layout and Operations

The airport has two runways, 02/20 and 09/27.

However due to high terrain to the north and northeast of the airport, the airport's normal mode of operations sees arrivals on 02 and 09 only, and departures on 20 and 27 only.

Note: if winds and traffic levels permit, the airport may interweave 02 arrivals and 20 departures. If weather and traffic conditions aren't conducive to this mode of operation, cross-runway operations are likely to be in effect.

Ground Operations

Note, there is limited apron space at Nadi.

This event may well see traffic levels at the airport in excess of those encountered in real life, so please ensure you follow taxi instructions carefully and be aware of other aircraft.

Note: for the sake of you own enjoyment, please ensure that you have disabled crashing due to contact with other aircraft in Flight Simulator, before joining the event.

Arrivals

Arrivals should expect the either the RNAV approach for 02 or 09, or the ILS-DME approach for 02. If you require the ILS approach, please indicate this to the approach controller to ensure you are allocated the correct runway.

Departures

Departures for New Zealand should expect the Foxtrot departure.
